OCT 2007 - PTI Integrated Systems acquired by Chamberlain Group

Jon Perrins, Managing Director of the Steel Storage Group, owner of PTI Australasia and PTI Europe, today announced the acquisition of the US company PTI integrated Systems by the Chamberlain Group, also of the USA.
Established in 1979, PTI integrated systems is a leading developer and manufacturer delivering complete solutions for access control, security and site management to customers worldwide. PTI provides hardware and software solutions to targeted industries, including the self-storage industry. Self-storage customers recognise PTI’s Falcon controllers, APEX and VP keypads, coupled with TaskMaster Management software, as complete end to end solutions to integrate the latest technology for access control, security, management software, video integration, wireless and TCP/IP into their solutions. PTI Europe and PTI Australasia are the sole distributors of PTI systems outside of the United States.

The addition of PTI systems to the Chamberlain Group’s product and solutions range is a perfect combination. The Chamberlain Group Inc. manufactures and markets access control products including residential garage door openers, commercial door operators, residential and commercial gate operators, telephone entry systems and related access control products throughout their current world wide distribution network.
In addition, PTI Europe and Australasia will benefit from improved service and support from the PTI Integrated Systems & Chamberlain. “What you can expect from this acquisition is continued stability and a commitment to customer satisfaction. PTI’s integration will bolster the Chamberlain Group’s international presence, consolidating markets in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. The improved support of PTI Europe and Australasia though Chamberlains involvement will be instrumental in PTI’s continued growth in developing markets.
